A Shakespeare play put on in a day!

Shakespeare Unstaged® was inspired by the diary of a manager at an Elizabethan theatre, which revealed that a company of actors might have put on forty plays in a year. And that these had to be rehearsed in a matter of days. In 2025, Shakespeare Unstaged® and Theatre Deli bring you Shakespeare's original history cycle from quarto, rehearsing and performing one play in one day each time.

The first in our monthly Histories season... Richard II is lyrically compelling but its rhyming verse is weaponised to deceive. Listen closely as the play makes you sympathise with the King’s enemies, but eventually turns full circle to Richard’s revelation as a human being.

How To Get Your Tickets

1. Book your desired number of vouchers (one voucher is equal to one ticket) and await an email from us confirming your order. This email will contain further information, this is NOT a ticket.

2. Open your booking confirmation and follow the instructions to redeem your ticket(s) using the unique link or code provided. You must redeem your ticket(s) as soon as you have purchased your voucher to avoid disappointment.

3. Once you have redeemed your ticket(s) and received them via email, take them with you and show them on entry
at the event. Ensure that you take personal ID with you or you may be turned away.
